Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella has embarked on a visit to South Korea, focusing on fostering collaborations in artificial intelligence (AI) with major business leaders. Nadella’s visit began with a meeting with Suh Kyung-bae, chairman of Amorepacific Corp., one of South Korea’s leading cosmetics producers. Furthermore, Nadella met with key executives from KT Corp., a major mobile carrier, and HD Hyundai Co., a prominent shipbuilder. Notably, KT and Microsoft have agreed on a five-year investment worth approximately 2.4 trillion won (US$1.63 billion) to launch public cloud security services in the second half of the year.
In addition to these industrial partnerships, Nadella also engaged with the entertainment sector, discussing preparations for an AI technology-integrated concert by K-pop singer G-Dragon in Las Vegas next year. By integrating Dynamics 365 Field Service, Al Thuriah centralized work order management, optimized technician tracking, and automated maintenance scheduling. These changes have led to a remarkable 50% reduction in task times and a 48% decrease in unplanned repairs. Additionally, the implementation has enhanced reporting capabilities, providing greater visibility into operations and enabling data-driven decision-making.
The partnership also leveraged Power Pages, allowing clients to access real-time updates, submit approvals, and track service requests seamlessly. This has significantly improved the overall customer experience, aligning with Al Thuriah’s commitment to delivering exceptional facilities management services across the UAE.
