Xbox’s annual Shocktober celebration is back from October 16 to November 2. As posted on Xbox Wire, there will be limited-time discounts on scary-good games, fresh Xbox Game Pass additions, and Halloween events across today’s biggest live service titles..
Shocktober 2025 games on sale (Oct 16–Nov 2)
Hell is Us. A third-person action-adventure where you cut through a semi-open world of chimeras using a mysterious sword and scouting drone while uncovering a civil war and supernatural calamity.
Dead by Daylight: Base Game. The definitive 4v1 asymmetrical horror where a Killer hunts four Survivors. Dive into deep progression, perks, and endless build variety.
Little Nightmares III Deluxe Edition. Play as Low and Alone with a bow and wrench in a co-op nightmare filled with towering terrors and eerie set pieces as you search for a way out of the Nowhere.
New on Xbox Game Pass
Hogwarts Legacy (Ultimate and Premium). Explore an 1800s wizarding world, master spells, tame beasts, craft potions, and decide a fate tied to an ancient secret that could reshape the wizarding world.
The Casting of Frank Stone (Ultimate and Premium). Supermassive Games brings a branching, character-driven horror set in the Dead by Daylight universe, where every choice cuts deeper into Cedar Hills’ blood-soaked past.
Halloween in-game events
Fortnitemares 2025. The Mother of Thorns (Doja Cat) haunts Battle Royale with a lineup of horror icons including Jason, Wednesday Addams, Scooby-Doo, and Ghost Face. Expect new spooky spots, bosses, and slasher-style twists.
Overwatch 2: Haunted Masquerade. Season 19’s marquee, three-week celebration brings eerie theming, cosmetics, and map variants across the hero shooter’s 5v5 and 6v6 modes.
FragPunk. A new PvE tower defense mode arrives as Lancers battle shard corruption, construct defenses in and out of missions, and synergize cards to repel monster waves.
How to jump in
On console or PC, browse the Microsoft Store to find Shocktober deals and featured collections, and check each game’s in-game event tab for Halloween content. For Xbox Game Pass additions, ensure you’re on Ultimate or Premium to access the new titles during the event window. Don’t forget to check out the 4 game trials being offered this month as part of EA Play and watch for rotating spotlights on Xbox home, the Microsoft Store, and the Xbox app on PC throughout Shocktober 2025.
