Xbox unveils the Cipher Series, A transparent and nostalgic yet modern twist on the Elite Wireless Controller Series 2

Xbox has announced the Cipher Series for the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, available through Xbox Design Lab. This new collection pays homage to the classic transparent tech designs of the ’90s and early 2000s, offering six stunning transparent top cases that allow users to see the inner workings of their controller. The Cipher Series draws inspiration from iconic translucent tech of the past, bringing a retro-modern aesthetic to the Elite Series 2 controller. Each of the six transparent top cases tells a unique story:

- Velocity Cipher: A transparent green top case that pays homage to the iconic Xbox green.

In addition to the Cipher Series, Xbox has introduced two new chromatic D-pad and paddle designs: Energy Chroma and Sunset Chroma.
