Xbox Game Pass is closing out March 2026 with one of its most stacked waves in months, headlined by Disco Elysium – The Final Cut, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, and Final Fantasy IV, plus a healthy mix of indies, family games, and Premium perks across console, PC, cloud, and handheld devices. Subscribers on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass all have something new to download almost every few days between now and early April.
Microsoft detailed the new drop in a fresh Xbox Wire post written by Xbox Game Pass Senior Community Lead Megan Spurr. The lineup stretches from March 17 through April 7, and includes everything from horror and classic JRPGs to city-building and a new Game Preview title for PC. It also brings more for Premium players, with several titles now tagged as available via Game Pass Premium on top of Ultimate and PC.
Available today on Xbox Game Pass
Kicking things off on March 17 is DreamWorks Gabby’s Dollhouse: Ready to Party on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass members. The family-friendly title lets players explore iconic rooms from the show, play mini-games, and enjoy a colorful, music-filled party adventure built around creativity and teamwork.
It’s a nice option for younger players in a wave that otherwise leans heavily into mature storytelling and survival-focused experiences. Parents with Game Pass can download it right away and have something kid-friendly ready while they wait for the bigger core titles later in the month.
Coming soon: March 2026 Wave 2 highlights
On March 18, Game Pass Premium picks up two narrative-heavy experiences that were already confirmed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass: South of Midnight and The Alters. South of Midnight (cloud, console, handheld, and PC) is the atmospheric action adventure from Compulsion Games that pulls from Deep South folklore as you confront strange creatures and learn to wield an ancient power.
The Alters (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) leans deep into sci‑fi survival and moral choices. You play as Jan, stranded on a hostile planet who survives by creating alternate versions of himself, each reflecting different life choices from his past. These “alters” become your crew as you gather resources, manage your base, and navigate relationship drama with literal versions of yourself.

March 19 is when one of the biggest additions lands: Disco Elysium – The Final Cut on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. It’s widely regarded as one of the best RPGs of the last decade, putting you in the shoes of a deeply flawed detective with a unique internal skill system and a sprawling, conversation-heavy investigation across the city of Revachol. Whether you want to role-play as an upright cop or a total disaster of a human being, the game gives you the freedom to lean into your choices and live with the consequences.
On March 24, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth joins Game Pass on cloud, console, handheld, and PC. The crossover RPG brings Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu together for a globe‑spanning adventure between Japan and Hawaii, with over‑the‑top, fast‑paced, turn‑based battles where the battlefield itself becomes a weapon. Fans of Yakuza and Like a Dragon finally have an easy way to dive into one of the series’ biggest entries via their subscription.
March 25 adds Absolum on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass members. It mixes classic arcade beat ’em up action with roguelite systems, dropping you into the world of Talamh as you try to overthrow the tyrannical Sun King Azra in a hand‑crafted fantasy setting.
On March 26, PC players get a day‑one Game Preview title with Nova Roma, available through Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. As the old Roman Empire crumbles, you lead your citizens to new lands in hopes of building a thriving Nova Roma, balancing city building, resource management, and appeasing the gods with impressive temples and monuments.
Rounding out March is The Long Dark on March 30, arriving on cloud, console, and PC for Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. The long‑running survival series is all about contemplative, slow‑burn exploration in a frozen wilderness after a geomagnetic disaster, pitting you against the cold and the environment rather than zombies or sci‑fi monsters.

Finally, March 31 delivers one of the headliners: Resident Evil 7: Biohazard on cloud, console, and PC. The first‑person horror game revitalized Capcom’s franchise with a more intimate, terrifying look at a decaying rural estate, tense exploration, and close‑quarters encounters that pushed the series back toward its survival roots. It’s also a perfect lead‑in if you’ve skipped straight to Resident Evil Village and want to see where the modern storyline began.
Early April: Barbie and a modern classic JRPG
The Game Pass wave continues into early April with Barbie Horse Trails and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 both landing on April 2. Barbie Horse Trails (cloud, console, handheld, and PC) is an open‑world adventure through Canterbury Trails Park where you can gallop across fields, dig up treasures, snap photos, and help restore the park with your horse, Lucky.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld, and PC) drops into Game Pass Premium alongside Ultimate and PC Game Pass after winning Game of the Year in 2025. The stylish RPG blends turn‑based tactics with real‑time inputs in a Belle Époque‑inspired fantasy world, and now includes the Verso’s Drafts update that adds new challenges and fan‑requested features.

Then, on April 7, Game Pass subscribers get Final Fantasy IV on cloud, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, available with Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass. The classic JRPG follows dark knight Cecil, dragoon Kain, white mage Rosa, summoner Rydia, and more as the Kingdom of Baron launches attacks on surrounding nations and a wider conspiracy unfolds. It’s an easy pick‑up for players who want to experience one of the foundational Final Fantasy entries on modern hardware.
In case you missed it, updates, and perks
In addition to the new titles, Xbox reminds players about Minishoot’ Adventures, which hit Game Pass earlier this month on console, cloud, handheld, and PC. The charming twin‑stick shooter blends open exploration with tight, arcade‑style combat and dungeon‑like boss encounters.
Two live games are also getting notable updates for Game Pass players. Valorant is adding a new Croatian Controller agent named Miks on March 18, and Game Pass benefits continue to unlock all agents for subscribers on PC and console. Meanwhile, Sea of Thieves: Season 19 begins March 19 with three Acts, improved Hourglass PvP, new limited‑time events for earning and spending Doubloons, multi‑ship faction clashes, and a fresh Seasonal Renown track.
There are in‑game bonuses too: Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 players can claim the Battleworn Secret Service Pack with a themed outfit, emote, and exotic M4A1 weapon skin, while skate. players on console with Game Pass Ultimate can grab the Supercharge Pack with new decks, trucks, wheels, stickers, icons, and titles.
Leaving March 31
As always, a new wave of games also means some departures from the library at the end of the month. On March 31, Peppa Pig World Adventures and Mad Streets leave Xbox Game Pass across cloud, console, and PC, with members able to save up to 20% if they choose to buy them outright before they go.
With narrative heavy hitters like Disco Elysium and Resident Evil 7, a classic RPG in Final Fantasy IV, and family‑friendly picks like Gabby’s Dollhouse and Barbie Horse Trails, the rest of March and early April 2026 are looking busy for Game Pass subscribers. Make sure to line up your downloads and clear some drive space before these “Coming Soon” entries flip over to “Available today.”
