The next XBOX Game Pass October 2026 Wave 2 lineup is bringing a trip to Midgar, a supernatural investigation, and plenty of Halloween-friendly chaos. Microsoft has announced its second October 2026 wave, with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arriving October 29 and The Séance of Blake Manor joining the library October 27. The schedule stretches into early November and includes two day-one releases.
Megan Spurr’s announcement on XBOX Wire also details new subscriber benefits, an update for The Elder Scrolls Online, and games leaving the service. Here’s what’s coming, which memberships qualify, and what you should finish before it disappears.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade arrives October 29

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is the headline addition, arriving October 29 for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass members across cloud, XBOX Series X|S, and PC.
The RPG retells the opening portion of the original Final Fantasy VII, following the story through the escape from Midgar. Its combat mixes real-time action with command-based decisions, giving players room to plan their next move without abandoning the pace of an action game.
For subscribers who have been waiting to try it, this is a substantial addition to the late-October schedule. It also lands on the same day as Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and the day-one horror release Terrible Lizards, making October 29 the busiest date in this wave.
Everything coming to XBOX Game Pass October 2026 Wave 1

The rollout begins October 21 and runs through November 3. One important distinction: Sandustry is expanding to Game Pass Premium rather than making its first appearance across every listed membership.

Mysteries and monsters arrive in time for Halloween

The Séance of Blake Manor looks particularly well timed for the season. Set in Ireland in 1897, the supernatural detective mystery sends players to a remote hotel to investigate a young woman’s disappearance. The setting promises secrets and otherworldly happenings rather than another straightforward monster hunt.
Terrible Lizards takes a very different approach. The debut game from WDR Studios, founded by the creators behind JTMusic, launches day one into Game Pass on October 29. Instead of fighting back, players use fast, fluid parkour to escape danger.
The spooky streak continues November 3 with Pit of Goblin. This online co-op horror game puts players in the role of dungeon-scavenging goblins trying to feed the Goblin King-Queen. Traps, monsters, and the possibility of becoming dinner yourself complicate the job.
There are lighter adventures, too
Dodo Duckie offers a more cheerful alternative, with a magical cap that lets its duck protagonist switch between 2D and 3D. That ability helps uncover routes, solve puzzles, outsmart aliens, and rescue kidnapped chicken friends.
Scramble Knights Online is the other explicitly announced day-one release. Launching in Game Preview, the MMO-lite action RPG lets friends explore Terracott, tackle quests and dungeons, collect loot, and craft better equipment between adventures.
Meanwhile, Sandustry focuses on mining destructible worlds and automating production chains, while Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted brings the original backyard defense formula back in HD with new levels and more through EA Play.
The Elder Scrolls Online heads back to Western Skyrim
The Elder Scrolls Online receives its Season 2 update, Echoes of Skyrim, on October 21. The update takes players to Western Skyrim and includes two solo dungeons, player-requested gameplay improvements, and new rewards.
Microsoft also highlights free and premium versions of the Season Two Tamriel Tome, available until January 27.
New Game Pass benefits for The Finals and World of Tanks
Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, Essential, and PC Game Pass members also have two benefits to watch:
- The Finals: The Welcome Pack is available now and includes 500 Multibucks, a 25% bonus XP boost, and the “Pretty Hostile” set featuring a weapon skin, emote, spray, and outfit. The offer is available only while the season lasts.
- World of Tanks Modern Armor: The XP Stock bundle arrives November 3 with 20 Enhanced Repair Kits, 20 Enhanced Med Kits, and 20 Automatic Fire Suppressors.
These benefits are separate from the incoming game lineup. Essential appears among the eligible memberships for these perks, but not among the memberships listed for the eight incoming titles.
Games leaving XBOX Game Pass October 31
Nine games are leaving on October 31, including Deep Rock Galactic and several remastered adventure games. Microsoft lists cloud, console, and PC for every title below:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered
- Dead Static Drive
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Full Throttle Remastered
- Grim Fandango Remastered
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Wartales
- Wildgate
Football Manager 26 follows on November 10
Two more departures are scheduled for November 10:
- Football Manager 26 — PC.
- Football Manager 26 – Console Edition — cloud, console, and PC.
If any of these are sitting unfinished in your library, those departure dates are worth prioritizing before the new arrivals take over your playtime. Microsoft also points subscribers toward purchase savings on departing games, although the announcement does not specify a discount for each title.
