Microsoft has announced an impressive slate of new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass in November 2024, headlined by the highly anticipated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and a remastered version of the cult classic Goat Simulator. The announcement, made by Megan Spurr, Senior Community Lead for Xbox Game Pass, on the Xbox Wire blog, promises a diverse range of gaming experiences for subscribers.
Xbox Game Pass November 2024 Wave 1 lineup
The highlight of the November lineup is undoubtedly Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, set to launch on November 19th. Available on day one for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers, this latest iteration of the beloved franchise promises to take flight simulation to new heights. Developed by Xbox Game Studios and Asobo Studios, the game will feature dynamically generated missions, competitive multiplayer, and what Microsoft claims is “the most detailed digital twin of the world to date.” Players can pre-install the game now to be ready for takeoff on launch day.
Another day-one release coming to Game Pass is Goat Simulator Remastered, available from November 7th. This updated version of the quirky sandbox game includes upgraded graphics and all previously released DLC, allowing players to wreak havoc as a mischievous goat in various absurd scenarios.
For strategy fans, the service is adding two classic Blizzard titles on November 5th: StarCraft: Remastered and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection. These additions bring one of the most influential real-time strategy series to Game Pass, offering both nostalgic and modern experiences of the iconic sci-fi universe.
The lineup also includes several indie titles. Metal Slug Tactics, a roguelite spin on the classic run-and-gun series, arrives on November 5th. Harold Halibut, a narrative-driven game featuring handcrafted visuals, and The Rewinder, a puzzle adventure inspired by Chinese folklore, both join the service on November 6th.
Xbox is also catering to various gaming tastes with titles like Go Mecha Ball, a twin-stick shooter with roguelike elements, and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank, a quirky heist game featuring vegetable protagonists.
In addition to new games, Game Pass subscribers can look forward to updates and DLC for existing titles. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is receiving the classic Nuketown multiplayer map, while No Man’s Sky is launching its sixteenth expedition, “The Cursed.” Sea of Stars will get a substantial free update on November 12th, adding local co-op and other requested features.
Games leaving Xbox Game Pass
However, as new games arrive, some must depart. Microsoft has announced that several titles, including Dicey Dungeons, Dungeons 4, and two entries in the Like a Dragon series, will leave the service on November 15th. Subscribers are encouraged to finish these games or purchase them at a discount before they’re removed.
This November lineup showcases Microsoft’s commitment to providing a wide variety of gaming experiences through Game Pass, from AAA titles to indie gems. With the addition of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the service continues to offer day-one access to major first-party releases, solidifying its value proposition for gamers across PC and Xbox platforms.
