Exclusive Xbox Game Pass September 2024 Wave 2 lineup revealed, featuring Wargroove 2, Frostpunk 2, and Ara: History Untold

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass September 2024 Wave 2 lineup, bringing a variety of new games to subscribers. This latest update includes three new titles: Wargroove 2, Frostpunk 2, and Ara: History Untold.
Xbox Game Pass September 2024 Wave 2 games
Wargroove 2
Wargroove 2, an Advance Wars-style strategy sequel from Chucklefish, will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on September 19. The game features new Commanders, map editors, and in-depth customization tools, offering an all-new adventure filled with unlikely friendships and unknown adversaries.
Frostpunk 2
Frostpunk 2, a post-apocalyptic city-building survival game from 11 Bit Studios, will be available on PC Game Pass on September 20. Players will take on the role of a Steward, leading their city through a cascade of calamities in a snowy setting, facing the perils of never-ending winter and powerful factions.
Ara: History Untold
Ara: History Untold, a historical grand strategy game from Oxide Games and Xbox Game Studios, will be available on PC Game Pass on September 24. The game features beloved classic PC strategy mechanics alongside innovative gameplay, allowing players to build a nation, lead their people throughout history, and explore new lands.
Additional updates
In addition to these new games, Xbox Game Pass members will also receive exclusive benefits for Overwatch 2, including six hero skins and an instant one-time grant of 30 Mythic prisms to spend on Mythic unlocks. These items will be available to keep, but players must link their accounts by October 21 to claim them.
Other updates include the Fallout 76: Milepost Zero DLC, available now, and the EA Sports FC 25 Early Access Trial, starting on September 20. Starfield: Shattered Space, a new story expansion for Starfield, will be available on September 30, with Game Pass members saving 10% on pre-orders.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks
New perks for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers include the Persona 3 Reload: Expansion Pass, The First Descendant: Season 1 Invasion Bundle, Apex Legends: Bright Idea Weapon Charm, and Hawked: Plunder Pack 2, all available now.
Leaving Game Pass
Several games will be leaving the Xbox Game Pass library on September 30, including Gotham Knights, Let’s Build a Zoo, Loop Hero, My Time At Portia, PAW Patrol Grand Prix, Pheonix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season, The Walking Dead: Season Two, and Valheim.
