G42 and Microsoft have unveiled a comprehensive digital investment package worth $1 billion aimed at transforming Kenya’s digital landscape. This initiative, the largest single private-sector digital investment in Kenya’s history, is set to bolster economic development across East Africa.
G42 and Microsoft investment’s key components

1. State-of-the-art green data center
A cornerstone of the initiative is the construction of a state-of-the-art green data center. This facility, to be built by G42 and its partners, will host Microsoft Azure services, establishing a new East Africa Cloud Region.
