If you’re looking for something new to install on your Xbox or handheld today, Game Pass has you covered. Junkster officially joins Xbox Game Pass on June 16 as part of Microsoft’s first wave of June 2026 additions. The physics‑driven cleanup sim arrives day one on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass with support for cloud, loud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld devices, and PC.
Microsoft announced this month’s lineup earlier in June, confirming a total of seven new titles heading to Game Pass in the first half of the month. Highlights include Persona 5 Royal hitting Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass on June 9 with cloud, console, and PC support. Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions drops on June 11 for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, playable via cloud, Xbox Sebox Series X|S, and PC. Junkster’s June 16 slot rounds out that first batch of games.
Junkster

Junkster itself is built around the oddly satisfying loop of cleaning up chaotic environments using over‑the‑top tools and physics. Think less “mundane chores” and more “turning trash management into a puzzle sandbox,” which makes it a natural fit for quick sessions on a handheld or cloud‑streamed play when you don’t want to dive into a 100‑hour RPG. With day‑one availability in Game Pass and broad device support, expect to see plenty of clips popping up as players experiment with ridiculous cleanup solutions.
Beyond Junkster, this first June wave shows Xbox sticking to its “something for everyone” approach with Game Pass. Between a huge JRPG in Persona 5 Royal, a space‑exploration themed Astroneer‑style experience in Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions, and a physics sandbox like Junkster, June is quietly shaping up to be a solid month for subscribers. If Microsoft can keep this cadence going into the second half of 2026, it will give Xbox some much‑needed momentum alongside the bigger strategic reset happening at the top.
