Signing in with a Microsoft Account

Step 1: Microsoft Account Sign-In

To initiate Windows Backup on Windows 11, start by signing in with your Microsoft account. This account, associated with various Microsoft services, ensures seamless data linkage across Windows 11, Microsoft 365, OneDrive, and Xbox. Follow these steps:

  1. Click on Start.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Select Accounts.
  4. Click on Your info.
  5. Choose “Sign in with a Microsoft account.”
