XBOX just dropped another wave of goodies to keep the XBOX 25th anniversary party going, and honestly, there’s a lot to unpack here. We’re talking free community-made gamerpics and themes, a limited-time profile badge, curated Game Pass collections built around XBOX history, and finally, dates for the rest of the global FanFest Tour.
According to Team XBOX’s official XBOX Wire post, the company is leaning hard into its community for this milestone, and it shows. Twenty-five years ago XBOX set out to bring players together through the games and worlds they love, and this latest update is basically a love letter to that mission, packed with fan-made designs, nostalgia-driven game picks, and a proper world tour to close out the year.
Community-Created XBOX Designs Are Here

Gamer Profile by Ben KenobI
One of the coolest parts of this drop is that XBOX partnered directly with two creators from the community, Klobrille and Ben Kenobi, to release a set of gamerpics, backgrounds, and a dynamic theme made by fans, for fans. If you’ve ever admired someone’s slick XBOX profile setup online, there’s a good chance it looked something like this.
Here’s how to grab these designs for yourself:
- Console — Gamerpic & Theme: Settings › Profile › Customize profile, then pick your favorite
- Console — Dynamic background: Settings › General › Personalization › My background › Dynamic background
- XBOX app on PC — Gamerpic: Open View Profile and tap the pencil icon over your current Gamerpic
- XBOX app on PC — Theme: Open View Profile › Customize profile and select your Theme
If you end up making your own tribute design, XBOX wants to see it. Tag @XBOX and use the hashtag #XBOX25 to get featured.
Everyone Gets a Free 25th Anniversary Badge

Starting today, simply signing into your XBOX account on console, PC, or the mobile app unlocks the XBOX 25th Anniversary profile badge. No grinding, no purchase required, just log in and it’s yours. The badge sticks around through the end of 2026, giving you plenty of time to show it off before it’s gone, and it arrives just ahead of XBOX’s actual 25th anniversary on November 15.
New Game Pass Collections Celebrate Every XBOX Era

To mark the occasion, XBOX Game Pass is getting specially curated collections that pull together standout games from every generation of the console, from the original XBOX all the way through XBOX Series X|S. Expect classics and fan favorites like Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Psychonauts 2, all playable on console and/or PC depending on the title. It’s a genuinely nice way to either relive the games that defined XBOX or catch up on ones you missed the first time around.
