XBOX is kicking off another Free Play Days weekend with a mixed lineup that includes tactical action, anime fighting, stealth classics, and co-op survival. The latest XBOX Free Play Days roundup gives players several ways to try out full games for free, with some titles available to all XBOX members and others reserved for Game Pass subscribers.
This week’s featured games include Tides of Tomorrow and METAL GEAR SOLID – Master Collection Version for XBOX Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and Essential members from Thursday, July 23 through Sunday, July 26, with an extra day for METAL GEAR SOLID – Master Collection Version through Monday, July 27. XBOX also says BLEACH Rebirth of Souls and Killing Floor 3 are free for all XBOX members during the event, while For Honor is available for all XBOX members through Tuesday, August 4.
How XBOX Free Play Days works
To jump in, players can head to the individual game pages on XBOX.com and install the titles from there, or use the Subscriptions tab in the XBOX Store on console to find the Free Play Days collection. XBOX notes that Game Pass members may need to be signed in on the Microsoft Store to see the install option. As usual, progress carries over if players decide to buy the game, and limited-time discounts are available during the event.

Tides of Tomorrow is a story-driven multiplayer adventure from the team behind Road 96, set in a post-apocalyptic floating world where choices and story links shape the experience. METAL GEAR SOLID – Master Collection Version brings the stealth series back into focus, with XBOX highlighting its classic setup around Solid Snake and the Shadow Moses crisis. BLEACH Rebirth of Souls and Killing Floor 3 round out the list with sword fighting and horror-filled action, giving XBOX players a wide range of genres to sample this weekend.
